The College boasts the following:

  1. One department, many graduate institutes: There are presently one undergraduate program, two graduate programs, and two in-service master¡¦s programs (Program in National Security and Mainland China Studies, and Program in Strategic and International Studies). The future will see more master¡¦s programs with a regional focus, including the Middle East, North America, the European Union, Africa, South Asia and Latin America, and the feature of ¡§one department, many graduate institutes¡¨ will continue.
  2. The number of graduate students outnumbers those of undergraduates, and the number will continue to increase with various area studies and interdisciplinary programs established.
  3. Proportion of faculty members holding doctorate degrees: Our College tops all the other colleges in having the highest proportion of faculty members holding doctorate degrees. The number of faculty will continue to increase as more department and program established.
  4. Advancing internationalization. Initiatives are taken to collaborate with renowned international universities and to offer courses taught in English. At present, academic cooperation has been built with Hokkaido University in Japan, and American University. A Dual-Master¡¦s Program is currently under discussion with Flinders University in Australia, Australia National University, and Seattle University.
